Get up early, there are chores to be done. Great way to keep the mind off the big event coming later in the day. New Yorkers are as proud of their rich history, as they are of their sports teams. Long before the G-Men their were the Dutch Settlers. And long before Eli was marching his team down the field, Henri Hudson was sailing his boat up one of New York's longest rivers.
So it seems appropriate to pay a little homage to New York's fine history by imagining what the Dutch Settlers of the 1600s might of been snacking on this coming Sunday while they cheered on their New Amsterdam Giants!
